CONNECTED PARENTS, THRIVING KIDS
An Introductory Talk
Learn how to connect with your children to express understanding, validation and affirmation for who they are becoming.
Build their confidence, and maintain motivation by safeguarding a healthy self esteem.
The goal of this talk is to emphasise the importance of the connection in the parent-child relationship that
will provide a safe environment for children to thrive. We believe that by helping parents to both understand
their children’s needs, and develop skills with which to provide safety and acceptance for their children,
we are moving into a prevention model from stress, worries, discouragement and a lack of motivation.
Key learning points:
Ingredients in building a healthy self-esteem based on early experiences that children have with their parents
Learn to use conscious parenting versus reactive parenting and reduce power struggles with your child
Strategies of communication to increase parent-child connection will be introduced
